Sweden
I chose to look at the site for Sweden, because I’m half Swedish and curious to see how they are branding themselves. First of all this site is very colorful, there are boxes in greens, reds, and blues; not to mention pictures of the government offices.
The site features multiple categories of interest to choose from..anything rainging from information about prime ministers to agriculture, forestry, and fisheries. I poked around a bit and each subject you click on brings you to another page with sub-topics. I think it’s a good thing that Sweden allows you to have access to all of this information. It seems like they want to keep their citizens informed of what’s going on in the country and in other countries.
There’s an article posted on the site about how the Prime Minister of Sweden congradualtes Obama on winning the presidency, and how he is happy the relations between Sweden and the US right now are so good. There was even a link you could click on if you wanted to study in Sweden. They seem to be branding themselves as a welcoming open-minded, and peaceful people.
